Baby Toa and grown Toa with pal, Marley
The clicker training method as taught by Rebecca Lynch was truly a Godsend for our family!  My husband and I are both
working professionals with little time to spend training a puppy.  Rebecca came to our home and not only taught us what
to do and how to do it,(including our young children) but why it works.  She even sampled the method on our 13 year old
son.  Within five minutes time it was working on him!  He was standing on one foot, one one specific piece of tile holding
his arm up in the air and couldn't explain why.  It was hilarious!  WE WERE SOLD!

Our dog, Toa, responded immediately to the loving, gentle method of learning.   Within a few short weeks our precious
puppy had skills!  He had knowledge of his boundaries, understood the respond and reward process and had a
confidence about himself that was beautiful to see.

We tried several other methods of training in the past with our other pets.  None of them worked!  I regret to say that our
dogs were obedient out of fear rather than because we shared a loving, respectful relationship.  This method helped us
to remember that these beautiful creatures are not just pets.  They are family members and should be treated as such.

In the last year and a half we have trained our lab and great dane with the same method and have experienced the same
result with both.  It truly does work!  Even when you have multiple pets.  They don't play off of each other's bad behaviors,
rather, they mimic the good behaviors!  No shock collars, no choke chains, no corporal punishment has ever been
needed for any of our gentle boys.  They learned and have grown up in a loving, safe environment thanks to Rebecca
Lynch and the clicker training method!

Our Mini Aussie, Cyrus, enjoyed every
minute of each session, and to this day, I
am sure he remembers Rebecca as the
“treat dispenser”.  My husband and I have
made an effort to continue working with
him, having learned the best techniques
that keep everyone happy, including
Cyrus himself! –

Here's a real cute picture of Millie, the
boxer, as a baby.  Millie (and her
Human) learned a lot during our
training sessions.  I have never seen a
dog take to "Stay" as fast as Millie!
She was truly amazing.  It was fun to
watch Millie's Human learn to trust
herself and her dog as the weeks
went by and we were finally able to
walk outside in their big yard in the
woods off-leash!  There will always be
a special place in my heart for Miss
Millie!                          -Rebecca
"We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our
training sessions with Rebecca.
Her reward system really works and
the book (literally a notebook) of
knowledge you have at the end is
priceless.  Highly recommended."

As first-time puppy owners, we were shocked at how much energy (sometimes destructive energy) this cute little ball of fur
had.  We signed up for a group training class at one of the well-known pet stores, but the trainer made us feel ashamed at
how little our 10-week old knew when compared to a dog almost two years old in the same class.  We heard about Rebecca
at K9clicking.com and contacted her about becoming clients.

Before we began training with Rebecca, we sent an email listing some of the goals we hoped to accomplish.  Rebecca took a
very realistic look at our list and discussed them with us at the initial training session.  We decided to focus on safety issues
first (such as running out the front door).  She gave us helpful tips and information regarding what to expect in terms of the
puppy and our time commitment in teaching her new things.

Rebecca didn’t just train the dog to complete some simple commands; she also helped us understand how dogs think.  This
knowledge allowed us to continue the training protocol after our sessions with Rebecca concluded.

One can easily see that Rebecca trains for the love of animals.  She took an immediate liking to our puppy and Bella simply
adored her.  Thanks to Rebecca, we are now the proud owners of an adorable, well-behaved dog.  We could not have done
it without her help.

The greatest lesson we
learned...humans are the ones who
need training! Our behavior molds
the dogs' actions. The clicker
training has been wonderful! We
have been taught how to redirect
Ginger's energy to a more positive
activity, and she loves hearing the
click and getting the treats of
course! The key to it all, practice
and more practice.
