House training 101: This 1-hour in-home consult is the answer to all of your house training problems. Learn
the punishment-free and fast way to house train your pup.
Beginner Dog Training (in-home): This course is a prerequisite for the Intermediate and Advanced
classes. Learn the fundamentals of clicker training in your own home. This 6 week course will introduce you to
positive reinforcement training and provide you with the skills to teach your dog many wonderful behaviors.
This course covers basic house manners and nutrition as well as sitting at mealtimes, waiting to go through
doorways, jumping, attention, sit, down, come, loose-leash walking, targeting, stay, and more as time allows.
Training can be tailored to fit your individual needs.
Intermediate Training (in-home): Ready to take the next step in training? This 6 week course will build on
the foundation you started in Clicker Training 101. We will work on the three D's: Distraction, Distance and
Duration. Beginner Dog Training is a prerequisite for this course.
Advanced Training (in-home): Take your dog to the next level! This course includes field trips to various
public locations to truly test your dog's skills! Focus will be on good public manners as well as teaching your
dog to focus in highly distracting situations. Everyone wants a dog you can take anywhere!
Individual Sessions: Private training can be set up on an as-needed basis and tailored to your needs.
AKC Canine Good Citizen Testing: Call or email to schedule an appointment for testing.
Group Classes: Group classes are now being offered at Hilltop Pet Resort in Mt. Juliet, TN.

| once-weekly for 6 weeks. Participants will learn how to train their dog using positive reinforcement. Behaviors learned include: Attention, name recognition, sit, down, hand targeting, recall (come),and loose leash walking. A fun game will be played at each class based on the work from the previous week with prizes awarded to the top human/dog teams. | AKC Canine Good Citizen Class: Now that your dog has learned the basics, let's hit the books | |
| and study for the AKC Canine Good Citizen test! The Canine Good Citizen program stresses good dog manners in public and responsible pet ownership. This 8 week class will prepare you and your dog for the 10-part test. The test will be administered on the final day of class. You can learn more about the test by visiting the AKC website or by contacting Rebecca. Class is limited to 4 human/dog teams per class. Beginner Dog Training is a prerequisite for this class. | ||
| Puppy Preschool: Puppy Preschool is a unique blend of foundation obedience training and | |
| socialization. This 6-week class is taught in an off-leash format where puppies have structured playtime mixed with positive training. Puppies learn how to focus on their owner even with the distraction of other puppies and people in the room. Each week is themed, so in addition to socialization with other puppies and people, the puppies are also exposed to funny hats, sunglasses, noises, etc. Often, shy or timid puppies will gain confidence and rowdy puppies will learn focus! On graduation night, owners have the option of having their puppy tested to be an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy! Please contact Rebecca to find out when the next class is available. |
